There is a plan to build a new restaurant and accommodation building on the original three outbuildings of the Auberge "forest inn BORN" in Tsukahara Onsen, Oita Prefecture. After 20 years of staying in Tsukahara, we discussed with the owner what kind of auberge is needed in the forest, and we were involved from the overall supervision to the architectural design.
The Main Building, with its wooden and stone-like exterior walls, gives visitors a deep sense of peace, as if they were part of nature. In addition, the detached building, which stands quietly in the middle of the forest, is a special space where you can forget everyday life and spend a relaxing time. From all guest rooms, you can enjoy the rich forest of Tsukahara and the beautiful scenery of each season. You can spend a comfortable time while feeling the breath of nature.
Uniformed with a simple and refined Scandinavian interior design, it uses plenty of natural materials and pursues comfort. Warm lighting and designer furniture in soft colors harmonize to create a stylish and relaxing space.
All guest rooms are equipped with their own hot spring. In addition, the main building also has a sauna, so you can spend a luxurious time relaxing in the forest.
大分県塚原温泉のオーベルジュ「forest inn BORN」の元々あった３棟の離れに増築でレストランと宿泊棟の新築計画。塚原という地に宿を構え20年の時を経て、森の中に必要とされるオーベルジュとは何かをオーナーと考察し全体の総合監修から建築設計まで携わらせていただきました。
木のようで石のようでもある外壁が特徴の「本館棟」は、まるで自然の一部となったかのように、訪れる人々に深い安らぎをもたらします。また、森の中に静かに佇む「離れ棟」は、日常を忘れ、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすための特別な空間です。全ての客室からは、塚原の豊かな森が広がり、四季折々の美しい景色を楽しむことができます。自然の息吹を感じながら、心地よいひとときをお過ごしいただけます。
シンプルで洗練されたデザインの北欧インテリアで統一され、自然素材をふんだんに使い、居心地の良さを追求しています。温かみのある照明と、柔らかな色調のデザイナーズ家具が調和し、スタイリッシュでリラックスできる空間になっております。
すべての客室に専用の温泉を完備。さらに本館にはサウナもご用意しており、森の中で心身ともにリラックスできる贅沢なひとときをお過ごしいただけます。
